Liverpool striker Asisat Oshoala has spoken of her joy after
learning that she made the shortlist of the BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year
Award. But the 20 year old has admitted that she was pleasantly surprised to be
nominated for the prestigious award.
“I worked hard last year but I am surprised to be nominated
for this category”. The ex Rivers Angels as averaged of 0.5 goals per game
since made her debut in the Women’s Super League Champions.
